Healthy Lemon Pie Smoothie Shake Recipe


We know you love lemon pie, otherwise you would not be here! But why not take that and spin it up a notch and make a super delicious healthy smoothies out of it? We will show you how to make this great tasting healthy lemon pie smoothie recipe. This is the perfect breakfast smoothie as it's a great source of protein, the best way to fuel your body in the morning!

INGREDIENTS:

* 1 cup coconut or almond milk

* 1 cup pre-frozen banana slices

* 1 teaspoon lemon zest

* 2 teaspoons lemon juice

* ¼ teaspoon simply organic vanilla extract

* ⅛ teaspoon lemon extract

* coconut whipped cream (optional)

* cookie or pie crust crumbs (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Add coconut or almond milk, frozen banana, protein powder, lemon zest, lemon juice, vanilla extract and lemon extract to a blender and blend until smooth.

2. Pour into a glass and top with coconut whipped cream and cookie or pie crust crumbs!
